The FDLAA typically has a waiting list for adding new members to our roster. This will be discussed with you when you are contacted.

Membership Type Requested:
AssociateAssociate: For adults over 18. Pays 25% of membership dues, with no voting or flying privileges.

YouthYouth: For those 18 years or younger who are not included in a family membership. Pays reduced dues and (1) vote. Cannot hold office in the club.

RegularRegular: For adults over 18. Pays full dues and has (1) vote.

FamilyFamily: Membership for one principal adult and includes membership for spouse and other family members in the household under age 18. Has (1) vote.

Renewal Terms:

The first year of membership with FDLAA, Inc. is a probationary membership which can be terminated at any time by the majority of the Board of Directors with a full refund of the first year's dues and initiation fee. The applicant can opt to end membership within the first 90 days of the probationary membership, with excess dues being returned on a pro-rated basis. No dues or fees will be returned if the applicant ends membership after the first 90 days of the probationary membership.

Safety Code and Rules:

I agree to comply with the AMA Safety Code and all Safety Rules of the Fond du Lac Aeromodelers Association, Inc. I understand that the hobby of flying models may present hazards to participants, spectators, fellow aeromodelers, and others. I understand that if I fail to comply with these rules, that my membership in the Fond du Lac Aeromodelers Association, Inc. can be revoked.

Release and Indemnity:

As part of the consideration for becoming a member of the Fond du Lac Aeromodelers Association, Inc. and the ability to use its facility for observing and/or flying model aircraft, I release and indemnify the Fond du Lac Aeromodelers Association, Inc., its members and agents for any and all liability to me, my personal representatives, assigns, heirs, and family for any and all loss on any claim on account of injury to any person, while on the premises occupied by the Fond du Lac Aeromodelers Association, Inc. I know from experience and/or observation that the activities of model aircraft can be dangerous and involve the risk of injury, and/or death.
